Verification Inquiries

Education Verification

Education verification is a fundamental step in our background investigation process.

An education verification confirms that a job candidate has attended the schools and earned the degrees, certifications, or other training they claimed on their resume or job application.

School Accreditation

School accreditation is an essential process that evaluates the quality and adherence to specific standards of educational institutions.

Accrediting agencies, recognized for their expertise and authority, establish criteria and benchmarks to ensure educational excellence.

Employment Verification

Our employment verification covers crucial details such as dates of employment, salary, position, eligibility for rehire, and reason for leaving.

We initiate the verification process by reaching out to the subject's supervisor or other high-level verification sources, who are carefully interviewed using a series of targeted questions.

Reference Verification

Former supervisors, former co-workers or friends who provide information about your applicant are somewhat more subjective than normal performance questions included with employment verification.

The information acquired includes character traits and/or habits, strengths and/or weaknesses, and whether the reference would recommend the applicant for employment.

In all, the interview consists of ten tailored questions which are customizable.

Military Verification

Military service verifications can be done for a variety of reasons, including as a requirement for some organizations.

Most often, military service verification is performed to ensure an individual receiving a discount is actually part of the military.

Businesses that are Veteran Friendly, or have a Veteran hiring program need to ensure the people they hire have actually served.

Board Service Verification

A board service verification search is a process of checking the credentials and qualifications of a professional who has provided services to the public.

This type of search is often conducted by businesses, organizations, and government agencies to ensure that they are hiring or contracting with qualified and competent professionals.

Volunteer Service Verification

A volunteer service verification can help to ensure that only qualified volunteers are accepted into the organization, and they not falsely accredited for volunteer hours that have not been completed.

Some organizations may require applicants to provide documentation, such as a letter from a supervisor or a service hours log, to verify their volunteer hours, but CI makes that process simpler for hiring teams by going all electronic.
