Guardian’s Travels: New School Year

Guardian School

Guardian was flying home from a long day at work when they overheard a conversation at ABCD Schoolcare.

“Well, now that the new school year is almost here, we need to hire more people to be with the kids after school”, said Kathy the owner.

That was all it took for Guardian, and they decided it was time to swoop down and help.

“Do you run background checks on every new employee you are going to hire?” Guardian asked, “If so, then my friends at Commercial Investigations can help.”

“Woah, who or what are you!?” she exclaimed. “Yes, we do run background checks on our new employees. With the new school year we need to up our game on what searches we run. Do you know how to help?”

“Guardian is the name, protecting employees and employers is my game. Of course, I know how to help you. What searches are you currently performing?”

The owner of the school looked around at first and then spoke, “Well we do references, and criminal history, and that’s it. Should we be running more?”

“Commercial Investigations is able to add crucial inquiries like Child Abuse Registry and National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) searches to make your school even safer,” Guardian said with enthusiasm. “Child Abuse Registry searches are vital in childcare settings. They can reveal if a potential employee has any history of substantiated child abuse or neglect allegations across multiple states. This is information you absolutely need to know when hiring staff to work with children.”

Guardian paused, letting the importance sink in.

They continued, “And don’t overlook NLRB searches. These can uncover any past labor disputes or violations filed with the National Labor Relations Board. It’s not just about protecting the children, but also about ensuring a stable work environment. Imagine hiring someone with a history of filing frivolous labor complaints – it could disrupt your entire operation.”

Kathy leaned forward, intrigued.

“Wow, Guardian! I had no idea these options existed. Both of those sound incredibly valuable. The Child Abuse Registry search will certainly give our parents peace of mind, knowing we’re going above and beyond to keep their little ones safe,” she said. “And the NLRB search could save us from so many potential headaches down the road. I’ll be on the phone with Commercial Investigations first thing in the morning. You’ve truly helped us take our safety measures to the next level!”

Satisfied with a job well done, Guardian spread their wings, ready to soar off into the night. They can’t help but feel a sense of pride, knowing their intervention will give parents one less thing to worry about. They take to the sky and realize that sometimes, the most important victories are the ones that prevent problems before they even begin.
