Due Diligence: Helpful Hidden Insights

“Looks like the results are in for our candidates!” Sue exclaimed, watching the computer.

The Fancy Valley and the Four Seasons team received their applicant reports from Commercial Investigations.

The HR professionals among them gathered together to review the Eagle View results on Balance Beamington, Cashmere Calculator, and Penny Pincher.

Balance seemed to be the perfect candidate, as he was flawless in the interview and had the experience the Fancy Valley team was looking for.

However, his Cyber Investigation Eagle View report seemed to prove otherwise.

The results showed that not only did he talk unfairly about previous jobs on his social media, but he also ran a ‘side business’ in drug dealing under an alias name!

Guess Balance wasn’t so balanced after all.

Cashmere Calculator was quiet on social media. He never posted any pictures, and did his best to hide accounts.

However, the team at CI was able to locate several posts on forums.

The scan uncovered that Cashmere had leaked confidential information and internal communications on public forums on multiple occasions when they felt slighted by an employer’s actions.

The team did not want to risk that.

Lastly, Penny’s Cyber Investigation Eagle View showed that she was very involved in politics.

It did not dive further than sharing posts and discussion boards, but proved valuable in assessing her character.

After seeing the results from Eagle View, it was clear to the team that Penny would be their best choice for the position.

So, Sue gave Penny the call!

“Congratulations Penny! We’d love to have you join our wonderful team,” Sue said.

Justin and Sue shared the news to Duey about the new hire, and Duey called everyone to come to his office.

Once everyone gathered in, Duey asked, “How does everyone feel about having a party to celebrate our new hire, Penny? I think it will be a great way to welcome her to the company.”

It was a no-brainer, of course, everyone was excited for the new hire and was more than happy to throw a party for Penny.

Duey put Prue and Sue in charge of getting the decorations and the food preparations.

In just a few days the party would be underway!

Meanwhile, Duey and Justin decided to grab lunch at their favorite local diner to catch up after the wedding fiasco and Coco’s sentencing.

As the conversation flowed and their bellies were getting full, Duey checked his phone and noticed a text message from Prue.

The message stated, “There is something I need to talk to you about.”

What does Prue want to talk to Duey about?

Will Penny turn out to be the right hire?

What snacks will be served at the party?
