Victims of Human Trafficking

As an educational leader, it is our duty to inform subject’s on their ability to block adverse information in their background investigation report, if you can prove the information is a result of illegal human or sex trafficking. In accordance with the CFPB, and National Defense Authorization Act, which included the Debt Bondage Repair Act.

The CFPB ruling states that survivors can report their status as a victim of trafficking to credit reporting agencies through their website. CI commits to this mission, and will be ready to act on any potential blocking scenario. For additional information please visit the Department of Justice Resources Center.
