We are so proud to have taken part again this year in Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids’ Sake on Friday, May 5th. Our team had a great time while raising money for an important cause!

He stood by while attendees competed in our Puzzle Challenge, which was a lot of fun! The goal was to put together our small 12 piece Cursory Indicator New York™ puzzle in record time. The top 5 quickest participants are receiving gift cards.

We made it! We’re finally moved into our new office space and are somewhat settled. There were a couple of bumps along the way, but because we have the best clients EVER, we’re unscathed. Thank you all so much for your understanding and patience. We really do appreciate you.

Commercial Investigations has been busy converting clients over to our enhanced software, CIware 2.0. Our new software platform works on all devices, from cell phones and tablets, to MACs and PCs. CIware 2.0 users also enjoy the improved quick and easy online password reset feature, which eliminates the need to contact a CI staff member to have your password reset!

It offers many customizable features, that business owners and human resource departments are raving about!

Yvonne always has a funny story to share, especially about her two boys. She is also a great cook, (cheesy chicken stuffing bake being one of her all-time favorites) and we are all in agreement that keeping up to the rigors of this job requires delicious sustenance on a regular basis.

An investigator asked a reference if they wanted to add further comments about a subject. The reference replied, “I just… I love her. If I could keep her forever, I would! Just like in Silence of the Lambs.”

Albany County, NY is joining the "Ban the Box" movement. All County Employees will be effected by this new legislation.

Being super adventurous and a NASCAR enthusiast, we're worried she will undoubtedly go to a race hop into a NASCAR herself one of these days! She is also a visually inspired cook, so she will check out her Pinterest boards and then make dinner.

An investigator asked a reference how they would describe the subject's character in terms of personality and work ethic. The reference answered, "Oh, she's just the best. I set my son up with her on dates, and I was angry with him for not trying to pursue it. I even grounded him! I love her."

This week an investigator asked a reference, "How would you rate his Dependability?" She replied, "His Edibility?… about a 10!"

Commercial Investigations LLC was granted Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) works with federal agencies to help small businesses acquire government contracts. This certification allows set-asides in industries where women-owned small businesses are substantially underrepresented.

Commercial Investigations tries to participate in philanthropy throughout the year, including the December 2016 holiday season. This year we divided and conquered! Two teams of super shoppers took a couple of hours to find gifts that were needed for families being helped by Albany Community Action Partnership.

An investigator asked a reference if she had a few minutes to answer some questions. The reference stated, "Well, I might be going in to labor soon so I'm not sure… but I can try!”

Welcome, Eric Dawson, to Commercial Investigations! Working on his degree in Criminal Justice, Eric also plans to study psychology.

It's one of our values! Our team focuses on positive community involvement through charity and corporate giving with both time and money. We hunkered down to plan this year's strategy as a team at a recent staff meeting. We do a lot during the holidays to help our neighbors in need.

Now we’d like to introduce another well-traveled colleague, Stephanie Rodriguez! Steph has lived in Puerto Rico and New York, and traveled back and forth numerous times. She loves to cook spicy food, speaks fluent Spanish, and probably dances a mean midnight salsa (but we don’t know that for sure).

On November 26, the team at Commercial Investigations participated in Small Business Saturday to support small businesses across the nation. Shane, one of our investigator trainees, spent time at Jay Street Video Games to buy his roommate a holiday gift.
